Lorien Unique win ‘Direct Mail’ award

Lorien Unique have won the 'Direct Mail' award at the Digital Printer Awards, which took place yesterday afternoon at the Cafe Royal in London.
The award winning campaign was for The International Direct Marketing Fair visitor marketing campaign, which Lorien Unique helped to create and deliver for Reed Exhibitions. The campaign used a wide range of variable contact detail information to create a highly personalised comic strip story for over 70000 individuals, which was sent out via direct mail and email and directed recipients to a personalised website to register.
Chris James, Client Services Director, said ‘we are really pleased that the hard work and innovation that went in to this campaign has been recognised by the digital print industry. The variable data combined with the comic strip creative and copy was a highly creative application of dynamic content marketing and subsequently received a fantastic response when it landed on desks and in-boxes.’
Organised by Whitmar Publications, the publishers of Digital Print Magazine, the Digital Printer Awards recognise the imaginative ideas behind digital print, how variable data has been used in original and unusual ways to drive business growth and the quality of the process.
Matthew Diamond, Managing Director and Chris James, Client Services Director, were on hand, courtesy of HP and the Robert Horne Group, to collect the award on behalf of the Lorien Unique team.
